BRUNSWICK BILLIARDS’ ZANZIBAR TABLE OFFERS EXCLUSIVITY
Limited Edition Billiards Table Features World-Class Design and Bold Sense of Adventure

Brunswick Billiards has announced that its distinctly intercontinental Zanzibar table is being offered as an exclusive, limited edition product; only 10 of the tables will ever be produced and offered to the public.

The Zanzibar table is inspired by European, Indian and African influences, and includes a rich mix of international woods including European Mappa burl and rails of American Cherry, giving the table its striking presence. Solid hand-textured and etched brass panels surround the aprons and leg pedestals for an elegant, sophisticated feel. Perhaps the most unique feature of the table is its African-inspired brass monkeys, which support the rail next to each pocket. These supports give the table a distinctive flair and bold sense of adventure.

Brunswick Billiards has announced that its distinctly intercontinental Zanzibar table is being offered as an exclusive, limited edition product; only 10 of the tables will ever be produced and offered to the public.

“The Zanzibar table blends a rich African history with distinctive woods and striking brass monkey accents, giving the table an international flavor that places it in a category of its own,” said Austin Rothbard, president Brunswick Billiards. “Now, its limited edition nature provides consumers with the opportunity to purchase a rare class of table unlikely to be seen or duplicated anywhere else.” Named after a small island off East Africa in the Indian Ocean, Zanzibar is believed to be the birthplace of Swahili, and is a melting pot of Arab, Indian, African and European style.

The Zanzibar table is being manufactured by Theodore Alexander, and was designed by Paul Maitland-Smith, an industry legend in high-end furniture design and production. Theodore Alexander is one of the leading manufacturers of fine reproductions of 18th and 19th Century furniture and accessories.

“The Zanzibar table offers the highest levels of sophistication in the billiards industry and is backed by the world-class design, innovation and superior playability for which Brunswick Billiards is known,” Rothbard notes. “This is a remarkable find for the discerning player.”

The 9-foot Zanzibar table is available for $24,999 through Brunswick’s cache of specialty retailers or www.brunswickbilliards.com
