Poison Strychnine Cues Fuel Billiards History

Innovative Grip Technology And Sports Car Good-Looks Ignite A New Era

The six-model Poison Strychnine line breaks all cue-making records with three innovative upholstered grips that give players cutting-edge wrap alternatives and an unprecedented feel never seen before in the billiards arena.

Owning a cue with the right wrap and in-hand traction is a key factor for straight and consistent shots; Strychnine’s grip options were developed to specifically address this inherent playing need. The new Poison line has three grips with varying surfaces and traction levels: the HI™ Leather Grip offers low firmness and medium traction; the HD™ Rubber Grip has a textured surface for medium firmness and medium-high traction; and the XS™ Carbon Grip is smooth and firm with medium-low traction. These grip options allow players to find the cue that fits their preferred style; in turn, Strychnine promotes a more fluid stroke, increased accuracy, and an enhanced playing experience that leads straight to victory.

“To be a successful player, it’s so important to have a cue that feels right,” says Karim Belhaj, CEO of Predator Group. “Strychnine, and all of Poison’s cues, are designed with comfort in mind. The different wraps and models let players find the cue that’s right for them, which naturally improves their overall game.”

Each Strychnine cue features a unique combination of pearlescent paints, chrome accents and upholstered grips to recreate a high-speed, sports car experience. For optimum playability, the best-in-class Venom™ Shaft, with its exclusive Double Density (DD) Technology,™ and the Uni-Loc® Ghost® joint come standard. Venom’s DD Technology, engineered by Predator, uses a proprietary coring technique to feature two densities of wood in the shaft’s bore, which creates a lighter front-end and improves accuracy.

Strychnine’s starting retail price is $299 and dealers can place their orders today. Strychnine cues will be available for players to purchase in August. To view Strychnine visit http://www.poisonbilliards.com/poison_billiards_strychnine_pool_cues.php.
